| Breads are individually wrapped in natural-based biodegradable cellophane bags, shipped on the same day the breads are baked. ALL of the Wheat Free loaves, and ALL Gluten Free loaves - - weigh 24 oz.

Without refrigeration, wrapped in original bags, our breads will keep well for 4-5 days after you receive them. Wrapped in sealed bags and kept in a refrigerator, you can enjoy them for over 7 days. To freeze, double wrap, or pre-slice and package in freezer proof bag. To refresh, thaw in the bag, then remove from bag and warm in a 350º F (175º C) oven for 15 minutes.
We ship cookies wrapped in cellophane bags of 3 cookies per package.
- Our prices include handling and domestic US shipping by US Postal Service Priority Mail. Though NOT guaranteed, orders normally arrive in 2-3 days from the time they are sent. MORE..
- ALL ORDERS RECEIVED by FRIDAY Midnight are regularly shipped on the COMING TUESDAY.
Orders placed AFTER FRIDAY Midnight -- ship out the TUESDAY AFTER that immediate coming TUESDAY. Check a calendar ! Please. Seriously.
- We ship in USPS PRIORITY MAIL BOXES that are 14 INCHES LONG, 12 INCHES HIGH, and 4 INCHES WIDE. Please take that into consideration if your mailbox is smaller. If you live in a safe residential area, and your mailbox cannot accomodate a box of this size, chances are the Postal person will leave on your porch or doorstep without a problem, AS NO SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED. If you live in an area where the Postal people are hesitant to leave a package on a doorstep, for whatever reasons, then you need to consider leaving a note for your carrier, or alerting your doorman, to make alternative arrangements. If you are unsure about your particular area, then leave a note, or speak to your carrier in person, and tell them that you are expecting a "FLAT RATE PRIORITY BOX, with NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED", and what can you do to best receive the package.
- Purchases are processed in secure PayPal environment (PayPal account not required).
- International orders are sent by Federal Express or DHL. Please contact us for a quote.
- MOVED or CHANGING THE SHIPPING ADDRESS: If you are an existing PayPal user and have recently MOVED, when 'checking out' BE SURE in the "Shipping Address" area to click on "CHANGE", fill in your new address, then you MUST click the "SAVE" button. (Read the importance of this "SAVE" button below). Or, for futures sake, FIRST go to paypal.com , log in, change your address, then proceed with your shopping cart on the grindstonebakery.com website.The 'checking out' area is designed by Paypal and under their care, and asks for a little attentiveness.
- BILLING ADDRESS and CHANGING the SHIP-TO ADDRESS: If you are 'checking out' and your billing address is different from your "ship to" address, when in the "Shipping Address" area click on "CHANGE" and add the address you want to ship to. You MUST then click the "SAVE" button which is located directly below the ZIP CODE. If your screen is at tilted at an angle, then the "SAVE" button may appear fuzzy. Click on it anyway. In this instance, and the one in the bullet point above, If you do not click on the "SAVE" button then the package will be sent to your billing address or your old address. The 'checking out' area is designed by PayPal and works well when care is taken.
- CHANGING your NAME? You could go to PayPal.com and change their default name for you, after logging in. OR, if in a hurry, just type in a new "SHIP TO" address as outlined above, and put in your "NEW" name. Save as directed in bullet above.
- ALWAYS LOOK at the ORDER CONFIRMATION eMAIL that PAYPAL sends you right after ordering. Check your addresses and names to make sure THEY ARE CORRECT. PEEK at THAT eMAIL!
- Be sure to look at the email receipt that PayPal sends you. If the wrong address is being used, then please call us BY SUNDAY NOON at the start of YOUR Tuesday shipping week or EARLIER ---at 707.284.2016 -- for most hopeful outcome--otherwise you will be responsible.
